Meet Jill Stuber

Jill believes nothing is more important than feeding the soul.  Jill's personal journey is deeply intertwined with her professional life. Her passion for leadership development in the food industry stems from her own experiences and the recognition of a significant need for change in how leadership is approached. Jill places great emphasis on the importance of soft skills, like empathy and communication, which she believes are crucial for creating a positive work culture. She is driven by a desire to inspire others and make a meaningful impact, not just in the workplace but also in the lives of individuals. Jill often reflects on the importance of understanding individual motivations and fostering a sense of belonging, which she sees as key to building a supportive and successful team environment.

This led her to co-found Catalyst LLC, a company she launched in 2021 alongside Tia Glave. With over 25 years of experience in the food industry, Jill has made significant contributions, particularly in leadership development and food safety culture. Her background includes working with multi-million-dollar food companies at both the corporate and facility levels, and small "mom & pop" companies.

She holds a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Food Science, as well as a Master’s degree in Quality Management. Jill is also certified as a professional coach, HACCP Certified, PCQI Certified, an SQF Practitioner, a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Lean Facilitator, among other credentials.

Jill is an active member of International Association for Food Protection, serving as the Developing Food Safety Professional's Professional Development Group Vice Chair.

When not knee high in work, you'll find Jill at a hockey rink, baseball field, reading, laughing at quirky sitcoms, or taking a stroll in nature.
